ROMAN BARTLINSKI It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Roman Bartlinski, dearest husband and father, on August 9, 2004 in Winnipeg, at the age of 50. Roman was born in Poland on November 18, 1953 and immigrated to Canada in 1970 sponsored by his special Auntie Amelia and Uncle Czestaw Bartlinski. Roman married Barbara on May 25, 1974. They resided in the Garden City area and raised their two children, Robert and Jeannette. Roman worked in the electrical field for approximately 15 years. He was employed by Forest Park Electric and Skyview Electric. Roman was a member of the Polish Legion No. 246 and Holy Ghost Fraternal Aid Society. He had a passion for gardening and took great pride in his yard. Roman will be sadly missed by his loving wife Barbara; son Robert, daughter Jeannette and his adopted son Steve Trybell; his mother and father; one brother and wife, and sister and husband of Poland; first cousin Richard (Josephine) Bartlinski; goddaughter Brenda and niece Andrea of Selkirk, and cousin Barbara McKay and family of Thunder Bay, ON. Also many friends from Canada and Poland. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Friday, August 13. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 14 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Ave., with interment to follow in the Holy Ghost Cemetery. Peacefully sleeping, resting at last, Your weary trials and troubles are past; In silence you suffered, With patience you bore, "Til God Called you home to suffer no more. "God be with you, till we meet again." CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
