PETER S. FRIESEN Peter S. Friesen aged 94 years of Altona and formerly of Silberfeld, MB passed away peacefully on August 9, 2004 at the Altona Health Care Centre. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Esther (Otto) Braun; sons, Bernie (Hilda) Friesen; Menno H. (Jolanda) Friesen; daughter-in-law Anne Friesen; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Peter S. Friesen was predeceased by his first wife Sarah; his second wife Neta; son Otto; two daughters, Helen and Anna; also by granddaughter Connie. The funeral service will be held Friday, August 13 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Altona, MB with interment to follow at 5:00 p.m. in the Altona Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Wednesday, August 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, August 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
