Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM CURTIS PIPER It is with deep sorrow we announce that William Curtis Piper our beloved father, grandfather, brother and son passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, with family at his side at the Grace Hospital on August 9, 2004. He was predeceased by his father William Piper on May 24, 1990. Curtis will be mourned and sadly missed by his sons, Vincent (Kelly) and Shawn; daughter Cindy; grandchildren, Travis, Brandon, Michael, Ryan and Jacob; brothers, David and Ronald; sisters, Bonnie, Janet, Julie and Karen; and dear mother Evelyn Piper; and many nieces and nephews. Curtis was born in St .Thomas, ON and moved to Winnipeg in 1956. He loved working on old antique cars in his early years and also enjoyed collecting coins and was very proud to show them to family. He loved his family and sent gifts to his grandchildren on their birthdays. He had a fond affection for his dog Nicky. He enjoyed his job of being a courier for Direct Express and continued working throughout his illness. Viewing will be held Friday, August 13 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
