Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA SLATER (nee ROSIN) It is with profound sorrow that we advise the passing of Olga Slater formerly of Winnipeg, widow of the late Bert Slater, Monday, August 2, 2004, in her home of Fridley, MN, USA. She leaves to grieve her sisters, Edith Paterson and Lillian Hay of Winnipeg and numerous nephews, nieces and friends in Canada and the United States. She was predeceased by her parents, Adam and Emelia Rosin; sisters, Ella (Schoenberger), Wanda (Miller), Helen (Galts), Martha (Smith) and brother Walter Rosin. She and husband Bert returned to the Minneapolis area after living and working in Chicago for a number of years. Olga was a vivacious, generous caring delight who will be missed by friends and family whom she cherished. A memorial service was held Sunday, August 8 at Washburn, McCreavy Chapel, Columbia Heights, MN, to remember the life of this very special lady. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
