HELEN JANET WILSON (nee McCALLUM) Peacefully, at her residence with family present, on August 10, 2004, Helen Wilson passed away. She was the beloved mother of David Alexander Wilson and Donald Thomas Wilson. She is also survived by sisters, Geraldine Joedicke of Toronto, and Joyce (Ken) Beatty of Winnipeg. Helen was brought into this world on November 14, 1931, the second daughter of Alice and Alex McCallum. She spent most of her life in Winnipeg, working as a gifted secretary. She was noted for her sweet nature, charm, grace and intelligence. She will be greatly missed by "Willi" and everyone she met. A memorial service will be held at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg, on Monday, August 16 at l:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society or CancerCare Manitoba would be appreciated.
