DOUGLAS WILLIAM LYLE HARTMIER It is with deep regret that we announce the sudden passing of our dear brother on August 8, 2004 at the age of 46 years. Douglas is survived by his two sisters, Lynne and Susan; brother Cliff; sister-in-law Deanna; niece Damara; three nephews, Justin, Chris and Cord; many friends and acquaintances. Douglas will be missed by the congregation of Waves of Glory Full Gospel Chapel located at 364 Furby St., and the many people he worked with and served at the weekly soup kitchen sponsored by the Chapel. He will also be missed by the staff and patrons of the Portage and Sherbrook McDonalds location. His lifes passion was music and was considered the best locally on the bass guitar. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2L 9Z9. Funeral service will be held in Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway, on Saturday August 14 at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Edwin Wiebe officiating. Interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens at our parents burial plots, interment will also take place for our sister Lorraine who passed away in Calgary on July, 19, 2004.
