PATRICK GORDON FOULKES Peacefully at home, on August 8, 2004, Patrick Gordon Foulkes, at age 66. Pat was born November 25, 1937 in the municipality of St. Vital and grew up there. He enjoyed family summers at Grand Beach, and continued to visit the family cabin as often as he could. During his younger years, Pat was an enthusiastic member of the Winnipeg Sports Car Club, and an avid 5 and 10 pin bowler. When his children were growing up, he volunteered with the Norwood Community Club. During his career, he worked chiefly for Federated Grain and Western Fabrics, then AFG Glass prior to his retirement. Pat is fondly remembered and missed by his children, Vivian (Nick), Gordon (Rose) and Jim (Christine) and brother Don (Iris) Foulkes. He also leaves his grandchildren, Bria and Thane; niece Karen (Theo) aunt Evelyn Forrester; numerous cousins and friends; and former wife Audrey (nee Johnstone). Pat was well known for his sense of humour and his love of socializing. He will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial service will be held on Monday, August 16 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., followed by a reception. Interment to take place at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted by either the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, 400-141 Bannatyne Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 0R3 or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
