MARVIN HALLDOR ERLENDSON It is with love and sadness that the family announce the passing of their loving father, brother, grandfather and uncle, Marvin Halldor Erlendson on Friday, August 13, 2004 at Luther Home at the age of 60 years. Marvin was predeceased by his father, Andres Marvin in 1955; his mother Molly Katheleen Halldora (nee Anderson) in 1996. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Sia and Andres (Andy) wife Nancy; grandson Alex; brother Dwight and his family, Vicki, Ashleigh, Delaney; the Roche family of Arborg; Anderson family of Manitoba and British Columbia; Auntie Gracie and family in Delta, BC; Erlendson family of California, along with numerous cousins, and the many friends he had. Marvin was born on June 8, 1944 in Gimli, MB and raised in Arborg, MB. He attended Arborg Collegiate, later moved to Winnipeg. He was an employee for many years at Electrohome and Inglis Canada and had a keen memory for electronics. He was a very social person who had many friends and always flashed a quick smile. He had a love for country music and movies and will be remembered for his sense of humour. He became ill in 1997 and entered Luther Home in 1998. Sincere thanks go to the staff and residents of Luther Home for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ardal-Geysir Lutheran Church, Arborg. Interment will follow at the Arborg Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kris and Danny Anderson, Jason Roche and Delaney Erlendson. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of the arrangements.
