ELSIE FONE It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother Elsie at the age of 83. Elsie passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Edward, May 3, 1973. Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Gwen Paradis (Dennis) and George Fone, both of Winnipeg; her two grandchildren, Edward Paradis and Valerie Thomson (Chris) her two great-grandchildren, Dennis and Rebeca Thomson; and numerous nieces and nephews. A service celebrating Elsies life will be held on Thursday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St., with interment to follow in the family plot at St. Boniface Cemetery. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: EDWARD J.
