She married Dad on October 27, 1945 and lived in Winnipeg where they loved and raised their four children. They attended and were active for many years at Holy Ghost Church in Brooklands. Their spiritual journey then took them to Blessed Virgin Mary Church where they continued their worship to this very day. They lived for several years in the North End of Winnipeg and at whose home you could find a wonderful welcome anytime. Moms (Babas), claim to fame was her delicious perogys and cabbage rolls which brought her such joy at watching all of us eat. She had a great sense of humour and always made us laugh. She also loved to play cards, bingo and watch game shows but she especially loved to spend time with her husband, her children and grandchildren and always made an effort to please them. She would give you everything she had and expected nothing in return. Her love for Dad was endless. He took extra special care of her during her illness to make sure she was safe and comfortable. Thank you Dad for being Moms Rock. Love has no boundaries, it just keeps on going. We will forever love you and will miss you with all our hearts, but we will also remember that you have now seen the face of God and live. The family would like to thank all those who have expressed condolences, concern and support. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 7:00 p.m. at Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 965 Boyd Ave. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, August 19, 10:00 a.m. also at the Church with Rt.
