GERHARD DYCK Gerhard Dyck, born February 11, 1924, Rosenthal-Chortitza, Ukraine, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on August 14, 2004 at the age of 80. Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 58 years, Lena Dyck (nee Friesen) his children, Helga Rempel (Gerhard), Anneliese Neudorf (Peter), Helene Foth (Walter), Margaret Hassenrueck (Ted), Gerhard (Trudy), Erich (Mary), Peter (Lucy), Dorothy Lavineway (Jack) and Neil (Donna) 36 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; also his brother Peter (Anganetha) and his sisters, Margarete Martens and Maria Wiebe (Kornelius). Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield St., Winnipeg, MB. In memory donations can be made to the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC).
