ANNIE WALETZKY (STOJAK) Annie was born August 19, 1906 and passed away peacefully on Friday, August 13, 2004 at Central Park Lodge, 440 Edmonton St., Winnipeg, MB. Annie was born in Austria and immigrated to Canada in 1913. At an early age she started working at what is now Lever Brothers. While there she met her future husband George and the two spent 53 years together. Annie was a wonderful mother, grandmother and seamstress in that order. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bowling and going to bingo. Annie was predeceased by her loving George in November, 1979 and her loving daughter Ruth Theroux on Easter Sunday 2004. She was also predeceased by her father Alexander in 1941 and her mother Katherine in 1972, seven brothers and one sister. She leaves to mourn, her loving daughter Delores, favourite son-in-law Paul Theroux, sister Sadie Kokran, and sister-in-law Marian Stojak. Annie was blessed with eight grand-children, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews and their families. Annies family would like to thank the 10th floor staff at Central Park for their care and compassion they showed during her many years there. Delores wishes to say "Thank you" to two wonderful friends who have been with her through the good times and the sad ones. Thank you Bernice Bryan and Jean Stewart and God Bless you both. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with visitation from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Annies memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
