ANTONIA DE ROSE It is with great sadness that the family of Antonia De Rose announces her sudden passing, Sunday, August 15, 2004. Antonia will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years Guido; her daughters, Luigina Stewart (Patrick), Maria De Rose, Lucia Nelson (Derek) son Antonio De Rose; daughter-in-law Cindy McFarlene; grandchildren, Pamela (Mike), Paul (Christina), Celeste, Christopher, Sara, Melanie, Adrianna, Mary Jane; and great-grandchild Chase. She will also be missed by her brother Guistino and sister Emilia and their families in Italy. Antonia was born March 5, 1937 in Castrocielo, Italy. She came to Canada in December 1956. She was a devoted wife and mother, who took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She touched many people through her generosity and kindness, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, August 18 at 8:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 19 at 10:00 a.m. also at Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano celebrant. Entombment will take place in the Holy Angel Mausoleum, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. The family would like to thank the Emergency and I.C.U. staff at Victoria General Hospital.
