DOROTHY VALENTINE GOSLING (nee REID) Dorothy was born in Winnipeg, February 14, 1918 and resided here most of her life. The last few years were spent in Middlechurch Home. Widow of Frank Alan Gosling her soul mate. Dorothys childhood memories of Gimli and Lonie Beach were ever strong. She had many lifelong friends and especially loved a game of bridge. Moms life although not always easy was very full. Her immediate family that was once so huge and now so few all knew her special and loving qualities. She was predeceased by sisters, Anne (Harry), Jean; brothers, Dave (Muriel), John (Evelyn) and Jim (Betty-Jane) and brothers-in-law, Ernie and Bob (Anita). Dorothy is survived by son Jim and wife Heather; grandchildren, Andrew, Gavin and Jonathan, as well as Jesselyn, Jason, Brittany, Andrea and Jody who were always near her heart; brother-in-law Roy (Joyce), Don of Calgary; sister-in-law Jean of Victoria and many nieces and nephews. In accordance to Moms wishes she will be cremated. A graveside service will be held at Brookside Cemetery on Friday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m. Special thanks to all the staff at Middlechurch Home.
