ANTONIJA KONOSONOKS It is with regret we announce the passing of Toni on Monday, August 16, after a battle with cancer. Toni was born in the province of Ladgale, in the country of Latvia on May 29, 1921. She married Walter and they came to Canada in 1949. After farming for a bit, they moved to Winnipeg. Unfortunately in 1962 Walter died. Over the years in Latvia, Tonis family passed away. She is survived by her dear friend of many years Bud Hogg, and of course other friends. For years Toni worked at Perths and then was with Government Services until her retirement. We wish to thank the nurses and staff at Cornish 2, Misericordia Health Centre for their care - she was happy there. Toni will be cremated and on Friday, August 20, at 11:00 a.m. - we will gather at Klassen Funeral Home for Tea and Coffee to remember Toni.
