DOROTHY EDITH MADDISON Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Dorothy passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 75 years. She will be remembered by her children, John and Sharon and their children, Gillian (Kevin), Joanna, Kristen, Arleigh, Devin, Justine and Brenden; Susan and Ken Stronciski and their children, Jason and his daughter Harmonia, Scott (Marcia) Joanne and Brad Vandersteen and their children, Kyle and Paula; David and Rilla and their son Richard; her sister Florence and Rodger Stewart; her brother Ken and Marcelle Burns; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Harold in April, 2001. Mom enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Mom particularly enjoyed family get togethers. Through the many hours of volunteering, Mom touched many lives, especially those at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Mom would like to thank Jean Rogers for her loving friendship over the years. A Celebration of Dorothys Life will be held on Saturday, August 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Bishop James Allan officiating.
