Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN TROMAN (nee FLOYD) Peacefully on Tuesday, August 17, 2004, with family by her side, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Lillian at the Grace Hospice at the age of 89 years. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Joseph; son Kenny; parents Harry and Annie Floyd; sisters, Edith, Jessie and Elsie and brothers, Albert, Raymond Cliff and Ken. She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy of Winnipeg, Phyllis of Woodlands and Edna of Vancouver; brother Bill of Winnipeg. She is also survived by her daughters, Audrey Peters (Mike), Barbara Snelgrove (Brian) and Susan Reilly (Bob), all of Winnipeg, plus many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mom loved travelling with her family; going to Grand Beach in the summer with them and her many spring and fall gambling trips with the girls. To Mom family meant everything and she would do anything to help them out. She made many friends at the block and enjoyed all the social functions downstairs. Polo Park will never be the same without her. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 23 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. A private family interment will be held at a later date. The family extends a special thanks to all that looked after her at the Grace Hospice. "Mom, you truly had a heart of gold and God is getting a special angel."
