ELLEN EVELYN GREER (nee FRAZER) Sadly, on Monday, August 16, 2004, Evelyn passed away at Concordia Hospital in her 81st year. Evelyn grew up in Swan River, MB and, after a short time in the Army during the Second World War, remained in Winnipeg for many years. In 1971, she and her husband Norm moved to Wickenburg, AZ for 20 great years. They then moved to Abbotsford, BC until a year ago when she returned to Winnipeg. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Norm; her parents, Richard (Pat) and May Frazer; and her brothers, Raymond, Mel, Harold and Bob. Evelyn will be missed by all who loved her. Her daughters and their husbands, Pat and Howard Boggitt, Debby and Don Doerksen; her grandchildren, Lisa and Jim Roberts, Laura and Les Halsell, Kelly Chidlow and Sherry Shindruk and Korri Chidlow and April Mardynalka. Evelyns greatest joy were her great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Matthew Roberts, Syndey and Ashley Halsell and Clariess and Kayla Chidlow. She will also be dearly missed by her sister, Beth Hunt and her husband George and family; sisters-in-law, Bena Frazer and family, Peggy Greer and her very special friend, Tom Boyd, who showed Mom the world. A graveside service will be held in Swan River, MB on Saturday, August 21 at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital (3E), especially Nichole and Tristen, for the kindness and compassion they showed to Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntington Disease Resource Centre, 825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5.
