EDITH HESTER ROBERTSON Peacefully, on Thursday, August 19, 2004 Edith passed away with her family by her side at the Victoria Hospital. Edith is survived by her son John, granddaughter Kendyl Kelly (Dave), great-granddaughter Sierra, Kendyls mother Pennee; daughter Carol (Rosie), grandchildren Sean and Robbie; daughter Nancy (John) sister Colleen (John), brother-in-law Horace and his children and families of New Zealand. Edith was predeceased by her husband George in 1974, parents William and Annie Whalley, mother-in-law Bethia Robertson and sister-in-law Maisie Freestone. For the past 14 years Mom lived at her apartment complex at 324 Stradbrook Street where she enjoyed the company of and outings with her many friends. Edith will also be sadly missed by her canine friends Maggie and Lexie who visited her faithfully wherever she was. Our sincere thanks to the staff of the St. Boniface, Misericordia and Victoria Hospitals and most recently Vista Park Lodge. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 24 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey Street) at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Don Johnson officiating.
