REBECCA (BETSY) SMITH (nee BUSH) Peacefully, with her family at her side, Rebecca Smith passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2004, at the Grace Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Judith, Ted and Kathryn; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Ruby, Colleen and Mildred. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at the Grace Hospital 2nd floor Surgery, family and friends, especially Marilyn and Mary-Anne, for their kindness and care. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 24 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Ave., with Rev. Ian Mills officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7, or a charity of ones choice.
