Beatrice was born January 26, 1947, in Cumberland House, SK. Bea will be watching over us with her son Kenny; mother Nora; and husband Walter. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren, respectively, Sean (Michelle), Lisa (Sean), Thomas, Matthew, Josephine; Kevin (Tracy), Daphne, Courtney, Damian; Jon, Marnie, Jessica, Josh, Jason and Kennys daughter Cheyenne; her brothers, Dennis, Jim, Frank (Barb) and sister Karen; aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her extended family the Courchenes, numerous friends and her beloved cat Spike. Bea resided at 425 Elgin Ave. since 2002 and quickly made many friends. If she wasnt home watching wrestling or babysitting her grandchildren, youd probably find her in the neighbourhood bingo hall. When shed win, it was always spent on her grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff of GH4 and GA4 at the Health Sciences Centre for respecting her wishes and taking great care of her during her many visits there. Bea was a strong willed woman who fought a long, hard battle with breast cancer which eventually spread throughout. No matter how sick she got, she made time for her grandchildren, whom she loved so dearly. A wake will be held on Monday, August 23 at 7:00 p.m. with lunch to be served at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 24 at 3:00 p.m., also at the chapel with Rev.
