PAUL LAURENT MARION Peacefully at the St. Claude Hospital on Friday, August 20, 2004, Mr. Paul Marion of St. Claude, MB passed away at the age of 79 years. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Francine (nee Allec) of 57 years; four children, Pauline (Roland Rouire) of St. Claude, Anita (Ron Baschuk) of Flin Flon, Simone (Roger Badiou) of Leduc, AB, Denise (Randy Fox) of Oakville; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his passing three sisters, Jeanne Demers, Lucille Dubois (Joe) and Therese Dionne (George) and numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Laurent and Lucia (nee Ricard), one brother Wilfred Marion and one sister Louise Remillard. Paul was born in St. Jean-Baptiste on February 9, 1925. He made St. Claude his home where he lived and worked as a farmer until his retirement in 1975. In September of 2000, for health reasons, he made St. Claude Pavilion his home where he received excellent care. Prayers will be held at Adams Funeral Home on Monday, August 23 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 24, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
