MARGORY JEANNE HOLMES On August 20, 2004 Mrs, Jeanne Holmes passed away in Edmonton at the age of 76. She is survived by her loving daughters, Karen (Gary) Dizak, Barbara (Allan) Heatherington, and Doreen (Rey) Wosar; seven grandchildren, Andrea (Steve), Jacqueline (Jason), Kimberly, Pamela, Graham, Kristin, and Daniel. She leaves behind her companion and best friend of 35 years, Jim Stern; sisters, Flo Burdett of Oak Point, MB and Lily Jerome of Prince Albert, SK; brother, George Davis of Winnipeg, MB; sister-in-law, Carol (Wilson) brother-in-law, James (Dixie). Jeannes husband John Robert Bruce Holmes passed away in 1963. She was also predeceased by two brothers, one sister and her parents, Herbert and Laura Davis of Winnipeg. Jeanne was born in St. Boniface, MB were she resided for 23 years. She attended Lord Selkirk, General Wolfe and Daniel McIntyre Schools. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26 in Hainstocks Funeral Home, 9810-34 Ave., Edmonton. Jeanne wished to be cremated and her ashes will be interred with her husband in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Edmonton at a later date.
