JAMES HANTON Peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2004, James Hanton, aged 81, passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre. He was predeceased by his wife Marion in 2001; his sister and brother-in-law, Aina and Elof Sandstrom of Kenora, ON; and brother-in-law Harry Isaacson of Thunder Bay, ON. James will be lovingly remembered by his son David (Violet) of Grand Prairie, AB; grandchildren, Lisa of Calgary, AB and Billy of Grand Prairie; great-granddaughter Kayden Lyne of Grand Prairie; nephew Ken Sandstrom of Kenora; as well as other family and friends. James career with the Canadian Pacific Railway took him from Kenora to Winnipeg, where he retired from the Weston Shops in 1983. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 25 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. James will be laid to rest with his wife Marion in the Lake of the Woods Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. We will truly miss you and you will be in our hearts forever.
