Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM ROBERT SLATNIK Bill passed away suddenly at home, Monday, August 23, 2004 after a beautiful day spent at the Park with his granddaughter Jennifer. "Poppa" was so proud of the newest addition to our family. Bills pride and joy were his two sons Trevor and Todd. He was so proud of their many accomplishments. Todd and Trevor have not only lost a loving caring father but a friend as well. Bill grew up on the family farm in Glenside, SK. He left home early and spent many years as a surveyor with Kenting Exploration, Calgary, AB, and later was employed by Greyhound Bus Lines until his retirement in 2001. Bill is survived by his wife of 36 years Lynda; two sons, Todd and Trevor; daughter-in-law Treva; granddaughter Jennifer; and brother John of Esteven, SK; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and support. Heartfelt gratitude to the paramedics and neighbour who tried tirelessly to help our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Marys Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd. Graveside service will follow in Green Acres Cemetery, Hwy.
