RACHEL MURDOCK Peacefully in her sleep on August 25, 2004 at the Fisher River Personal Care Home, Rachel passed away at the age of 94 years. She is survived by sons, Norman and Stanley Spence of Fisher River, MB; daughters, Carrie Traverse of Winnipeg, Bernice (Frank) McKay of Sioux Valley, MB; step-children, Gordon and Reginald Murdock of Fisher River, MB, Margret Cochrane of Fisher River; numerous nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Simon James Murdock; brother, Harald James Cochrane; sisters, Agnus Chartrand, Sara Kirkness, Frances Hart; by son John Spence, and three sons and one daughter in infancy. Prayers will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Fisher River Personal Care Home in Fisher River, MB at 6:00 p.m. Wake service will be held on Saturday, August 28 at Stevens Memorial Church at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 29 at Stevens Memorial Church at Fisher River, MB at 2:00 p.m. Honorary pallbearers are residents of F.R.P.C.H., Harold Cochrane Senior, Conrad Kirkness, Rocky Traverse, Darren Traverse, Darryl McKay and Michael McKay.
