PAULINE WILSON Peacefully, on Monday, August 23, 2004, Pauline Wilson passed away at Victoria Hospital with her son by her side. She is survived by her son Gordon Wilson; sister-in-law Mary Anne Kopelchak (Toronto, ON) and two nephews, Steve Kopelchak and Glen Kopelchak. Pauline was predeceased by her father Mike in 1944; her mother Annie in 1982; brother William in 1989, brother Steve in 1991; sister Rose Stauffer in 1999; brother Elmer Kopelchak in 2000; and four sisters, Katherin in infancy, Lillian in childhood, Mary and Evelyn Hygaard. She was born April 14, 1912, in the district of Mikado, SK, than came to Winnipeg in the mid 30s. Pauline loved to plant a garden and shared the harvest with others, be it neighbours or friends. However, her greatest joy was to share the spiritual truths she learned from Jehovah Gods Holy Word the Bible in the Ministry from the time she dedicated her life to serve her Creator July 15, 1934. As one of Jehovahs Witnesses, she showed her strong belief that Jehovah God did not create man to die, but now that death exists He has given us a hope to see my mother again (John 17:3). We know that our tears of loss are just like Jesus when He cried for his friend Lazarus (John 11:35). It comforts us to know that Pauline Wilson is asleep (Eccl. 9:5) and "Precious in the eyes of Jehovah is the death of his loyal ones" (Psalms 116:15). My mothers future hope was earthly not heavenly (Psalms 37:29). There will be a time when "God will wipe out every tear from our eyes and death will be no more" (Rev. 21:3-4). It is her will to be buried in the same cemetery as her mother (District of Mikado), which will take place Saturday, August 28 with her spiritual brothers and sisters from the area to be present at the grave site. To the friends who took time out of their busy lives to show agape love for my mother, she showed her appreciation with a smile. Many thanks to families I have met during the five years she was taken care of by the Fort Garry Care Centre, and the support I received on a daily basis as I had visited my mother. Thanks to the ER and Unit 05 South of the Victoria Hospital from August 20 to 23, for their respect and compassion during her short stay. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Kingdom Hall Centre, 227 Lakewood Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3J 2N2. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
