CECILE ROCHON Peacefully, on August 25, 2004, Cecile Victoire (Perreault) Rochon passed away, surrounded by her children, at St. Boniface General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Anna Perreault, husband Denis Rochon and brothers, Emile and Peter, she leaves to mourn her passing her children, Dianne (Marc) Vivian, Roger and Guy Rochon; a brother Paul and sister Simone; stepmother Aurore; stepbrothers, Rene and Robert; stepsisters, Edna, Collette and Georgette; along with her cherished grandchildren Stephane Rochon, Luke and Joel Vivian. A woman of compassion and generosity, Cecile was born in St. Norbert on January 26, 1930. She married Denis Rochon in 1953 and together, they spent many happy times together, raising a family and many pets on their farm in Lasalle, MB. Cecile had a wonderful sense of humour and loved to laugh. Her smile lit up the room. Her caring and concern for others inspired her to become a registered nurse, before embarking on a 45-year career that included service at St. Boniface Hospital and Central Park Lodge. She was a voracious reader and avid crossword puzzle fan but her greatest joy was her family who take comfort in knowing Cecile is now free of pain and reunited with her beloved Denis. At Ceciles request, a private family burial is planned. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends are invited to make a contribution to the charity of their choice in her memory in the same spirit of giving that was so much a part of Ceciles life. Adieu, Maman....Till We Meet Again.
