I came with my parents to Canada in 1949, and the first person my parents befriended was Stella Joba and her family. I was 3. Lorraine put on my first ever nail polish, and so started our expierience in life in Canada. When we left Bissett, my parents kept in touch, and Stella stayed with us a few days when her daughter delivered her baby, and my Dad went to Elliot Lake to help build a new house for Tony and Stella. My memories are of a wonderful lady that gave us so much help in our early yeas in a new country. After my parents passed I lost track of her as she was in Winnepeg. May your memory of her be a blessing. Vichnaya Pamyat. - Posted by: Jean (Olia) Liba Kozelko (first friend in Canada) on: Feb 11, 2021
