DONNA RAE BOBBIE (nee WALLACE) Sadly, on August 31, 2004, Donna Bobbie, aged 51 years, lost her battle with cancer at St. Boniface Hospital. Donna will be sorely missed by her husband Richard and daughters, Diana and Paige. Donna will also be missed by her mother Peggy Wallace; sister Carol Frenz (Dick) brother Bill Wallace (Debbie) nieces, Krista and Carley; nephews Kyle, Colby and Carson; and mother-in-law Nettie Bobbie. She was predeceased by her father Raymond Wallace. Donna faced the end with a sense of dignity and a spirit that uplifted all her visitors. She was devoted to her family. This devotion fueled her involvement in Girl Guides and scrapbooking. In Girl Guides, Donna volunteered in many capacities including leader, newsletter editor, program advisor and district commissioner. In scrapbooking, Donna found her creative passion. She loved recording her familys memories in a simple and elegant fashion. She acquired an international reputation for her contributions to scrapbooking and her willingness to share all of her artistic creations with others. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. The family wishes to thank the staff in wards 5A, 5B and the Palliative Care Unit of St. Boniface Hospital for their care, kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donnas memory to a charity of your choice or to the St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation, Palliative Care Endowment Fund, 409 Tache Ave., Room D1003, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
