ERNESTA "VERONA" BABB August 8, 1934 - August 29, 2004 Passed away peacefully with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed by her husband Denis; her two brothers, Sylvan and Wilfred; and sister Marcia; her five children, Judy and husband Mathieu, Graham, Michael and wife Lyn, Peter and wife Lolitta, and Debra and husband Steve; her cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Chelsea, Courtney, Jessica, Jarrell, Michael, Kamele, and Halle; as well as other relatives and dear friends. Verona will be remembered as a generous, warm, and caring person who loved life and enjoyed the company of her family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. Their kindness and compassion for Verona and her family was greatly appreciated. Funeral service will be held at the Henderson Highway, Seventh Day Adventists Church, 1314 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg, MB on Friday, September 3 at 11:00 a.m. Committal will follow at the Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Rd., Winnipeg.
