NORMAN DOUGLAS GALLOWAY Norman Douglas Galloway of Bellingham, WA, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2004, in Bellingham. He was 87, born November 19, 1916 in Winnipeg, the youngest son of Isabella (Moyes) and Henry Francis Galloway. Norman served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War. For 38 years, he worked for Trans-Canada Airlines / Air Canada, the first seven as a radio operator, the remainder as a communications electronic technician, in a number of locations in Canada and the United States. After retiring in Montreal in 1976, he moved to Bellingham. He was preceded in death by brothers, William Begg Galloway of Winnipeg and Kenneth Moyes Galloway of Bellingham. Survivors include his sisters-in-law, Edna Galloway of Winnipeg and Genevieve Galloway of Bellingham; and nephews, Gregg Galloway and family of Sioux City, IA, and Gary Galloway and family of Wilmington, NC. Memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall, Bellingham, WA 98225. A fellowship gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 4 in the Whatcom Room at Jones / Moles Funeral Home. Jones / Moles Funeral Home Bellingham, WA
