A daughter, Katrina Kowalchuk of Vancouver, survives him. Born May 15, 1948 Gerry will be fondly remembered by his friends and coworkers at CSS Office Services in Calgary. A memorial gathering to reminisce about Gerry will be held at Fish Creek Park, Calgary (meeting at the first parking lot near the Canyon Meadows Drive and Macleod Trail South location), on Thursday, September 9 at 6:00 p.m. If desired, donations in Gerrys name may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1825 Park Rd.
