Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALMA CHRISTINE ANDRESEN (nee FRAUEN) Alma was born January 18, 1921 and passed away on September 2, 2004 at the Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by her husband Peter of 58 years. Alma and Peter moved to Thompson in 1959 as one of the first pioneering families. There they worked hard, established a business, made many lifelong friends and became productive members of the community. One of the places that Alma loved was the cabin that they built on a island at Paint Lake where Alma enjoyed activities such as snowmobiling, fishing, and spending time with her family. Alma also had a passion for travelling. They would go to Mexico annually for 35 years where they had many cherished friends that will sadly miss her. Alma will always be remembered for her quiet, giving nature and her kind spirit. She leaves behind to mourn her children, W. John Andresen (Kim), Ingrid Andrews (Glen), Peter Andresen (Sandy), Karen Andresen; ten grandchildren, Tara Goodman (Scott), Mark Dudar, Marlaine Andresen, Stephanie Andresen, Brendan Andresen, Chris Andresen, Steven Andresen, Scott Andresen, Amanda Prinse, Juliane Prinse; one great-grandchild Kaitlyn Goodman. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of 3E Riverview Health Centre for their care and concern of Alma.
