Offer Condolences or MemoryChange in Service Times DEBORAH (DEBBIE) HAMILTON Debbie was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on August 28, 2004 in Atlanta, GA. Debbie was born on February 7, 1965 in Kingston, Jamaica to Mr. and Mrs. Gladstone Hamilton. She was a devoted mother of two sons, Trystin and Tevon. She will be sadly missed by her parents, Mr. Gladstone and Mrs. Amy Hamilton; sister Michelle; brother Everton, both of Toronto; numerous aunts, uncles, niece and nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her brother Hugh in July, 2001. Deborah accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of the Bible Church of God in Winnipeg, MB and the New Born Church of God in Toronto, ON. After moving to Atlanta, she became a faithful member of Love Life Christian Fellowship Church, Ellenwood, GA. Deborah graduated from Murdock McKay High School in 1986. She received a degree in criminology from the University of Winnipeg and a nursing degree from Humber College in Toronto. She worked for two years at the McAllen Medical Centre in Texas before moving to Atlanta where she worked at Crawford Long Hospital from December 1999 to 2001 and at Dekalb Long Medical Centre from July 2001 to July 2004. Deborah will be remembered as a soft-spoken, strong-willed and loving person. Viewing will be held at the Bible Church of God from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Bible Church of God, 51 Richfield Ave., St. Vital. Rev. Milton W. Chambers officiating. Interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
