DOROTHY JANET KREUTZ It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Janet Kreutz (Jinny) wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Friday, September 3, 2004. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by husband Harry of 59 plus years; and children, Colin (Irene) of Toronto, Lynne (Terry) of Allen, TX, Barry (April) of Landmark, MB and Kevin (Judi) Charleswood, Winnipeg; plus eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Jinny was born in Brighton England and met Harry in 1943 and they were married in Brighton England July 20, 1945. Jinny was the first female warden in the parish of St. Thomas Abeckett in Pierrefonds, QC in 1968. Jinny was very active in the McKinnon Guild and served in various capacities. Her favourite was Manager of the Nearly New Shop. In between she always found time to play a few games of bridge with her friends. Our family would like to thank the staff of the Cancer Centre at the St. Boniface Hospital and Riverview Care Centre for the love and tender care they gave Jinny. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. John Brebeuf Parish, River Heights on Thursday, September 9 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jinnys memory to The Cancer Society or any Society of your choice.
