EVELYN ANNE EVANS (nee HILL) Sadly, on Monday, August 30, 2004, Evelyn passed away peacefully after a brief illness, at Charleswood Care Centre at the young age of 72 years, with her son Jeff and Carrie at her side. She was predeceased by her husband Charles "Charlie" Evans; special friend Harold Johnson; sisters, Rose and Shirley; and her brother Albert. She is survived by sister Sylvia Halldorson of Edmonton; daughter Joyce Songer of British Columbia; sons, James Taylor of Alberta and Jeff Boxshall (Carrie) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Michelle McCullough of British Columbia, Jesse Shields of Alberta, Jared and Amanda Boxshall and Owen Kiss of Winnipeg; great-grandson Evan Schmidt of British Columbia; and numerous other family and friends. Mom enjoyed life to the fullest with her many trips to casinos, and playing Bingo. Cooking for her family and friends would always put a smile on her face and a jump in her step. Mom would always be there to listen, support and understand through good and bad times. Mom, we all miss you dearly and love you very much. We will miss your bright smile and big heart.
