SANTINA PASSANTE (nee NAPOLEONE) On September 4, 2004, surrounded by her loving family, Santina Passante passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 83 years. Santina was born in Catania, Sicily, Italy on October 12, 1920. Santina leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 61 years, Giuseppe; son Tino (Marlene) daughters, Pierina (Manuel), Grace (Renaldo), Lucy (Luigi), Silvana (Dominic) 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also mourning are her brothers, Gesualdo (Mela, deceased), Serafino (Carmelina) sister Grace (Rosario) all of British Columbia; her brothers-in-law, Giovanni Passante (Angelina) of British Columbai, (Liborio Passante, deceased) his wife Tina, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, son Carmelo and infant daughter Anna Maria. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 7:00 p.m.at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 9, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will follow in the Assumption Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. We, the family, wish to thank the staff at the Holy Family Nursing Home (St. Paul Wing) and the caring people at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Unit 5, especially Judy, who knew just how much Santina meant to us.
