He was predeceased by his parents, Pierre and Rose-Delima. Armand was born in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, MB on June 2, 1931. After finishing school, he took up farming in Virden at the age of 19. In July of 1958, he married the love of his life Pauline, In 1968, the family moved to Winnipeg where Armand sold life insurance after which he started selling real estate, a profession he thoroughly enjoyed for the next 30 years. Armand was a good-natured soul who possessed great courage. He was a man of faith, an outgoing person who had a strong work ethic and was determined to succeed at whatever task he undertook. Armand was always willing to lend an ear or give a helping hand. He was generous with his time and always put his family first. His great passions were camping, fishing, travelling, teaching his children to water ski and playing card games with his grandchildren who were Grand-peres pride and joy. His spirit will never be forgotten. The family is very grateful to our many relatives and friends who gave us support with their visits, prayers and inquiries. Many thanks to Dr. Judy Komosky, Dr. Ralph Wong and Oncology Staff, the staff of the Palliative Care Home Program (special thanks to nurse Carrie) and the staff on the eighth floor Palliative Care Unit of the St. Boniface Hospital. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Marcel Toupin at the Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens Roman Catholic Church, 289 Dussault Ave. in Windsor Park on Thursday, September 9 at 11:00 a.m. The service will terminate at the church.
