Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOB PETER GINTER Peacefully on Saturday September 4, 2004 at the Concordia Hospital, Jake passed away at the age of 79 years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years Eileen; his children, Bob (Leslie), Leone (Ron) Pommer, Marilyn (Alan) MacDonald, Don (Kathy) 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two sisters Lena (Walter), Mary. Dad was predeceased by his parents (Cornelius, Katherine) and his three brothers, John, Neil, and Tom. Dad was born on July 25, 1925 in Parkbeg, SK. He spent most of his growing up years near Stonewall, MB where he met his loving wife Eileen. They were married on June 21, 1946. Dad was employed in the milk service industry for 34 years retiring in 1986 from Peoples Co-op Dairy. Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 9 from 7:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway No. 1 E. at Navin Road. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 10 at 2:00 p.m. also at Green Acres Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dads memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway Ave. Winnipeg, MB R3G 1S6.
