Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUBA KLOWAK Peacefully on September 5, 2004, Luba Klowak passed away at the Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 74 years. Luba leaves to mourn her sisters, Mary Deley, Katherine (Mike) Storoschuk, Libby (Mike) ODriscoll; sister-in-law Edith Klowak; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Phillip; mother Teodosia; brother Michael; nephews, Terry Klowak and Lawrence Tomiuk. Luba was born in Poplarfield to loving parents on September 19, 1929. At the age of 13, she began showing signs of MS and it was an up-and-down illness for a number of years. She finally ended up in a wheelchair and entered Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 31. She was a resident there for 43 years. Luba was a very cheerful and social person in spite of her handicap. She loved to dress fancy and adorn herself with jewelry. Luba looked forward to visiting the homes of her family for special holidays and birthdays. She could hardly wait for winter to finish, so she could go outside. The family would like to thank the Sisters and Nurses at the Holy Family Nursing Home for their excellent care and compassion to our dear sister, Luba. May God bless you all. Funeral Service will be held on September 9, 2004 at 10:00 a.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Michael Krochak officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lubas memory to Multiple Sclerosis or a charity of your choice. Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
