IDA PETERSON (nee FILLION) Peacefully, at the age of 85, Ida Peterson (nee Fillion) passed away on August 30, 2004 in Abbotsford, BC with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her first husband Maurice Berard and son Garry. Mourning her passing are husband Henri and her five daughters, Carol, Jo-Anne, Lynne, Lisa, Michelle and son Don; sisters, Antoinette Marion, Irene (Les West), Denise Marion; and two brothers, Lucien (Liz) and Ulysses (Emma). Ida was a loving and giving person. Her children, family and friends have lived with this unconditional love which was manifested in many many ways - through her hands as a cook and seamstress and through her heart as she greeted everyone with open arms. Ida has journeyed on this earth finding solace in her faith and acceptance of Gods will. Ida seemed to have planned her last days with us. A month before her death she visited her family in Manitoba and Ontario. A funeral service took place on September 2 in St. Anns Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Special thanks to Marcel and Henriette Fillion for their devoted attention to Henry and Ida.
