JOHN ANGECONEB 1963 - 2004 On September 8, 2004 we come together to honour the life of our brother, uncle and friend John Angeconeb. John is survived by his four sisters, Eliza "Kwiishkwaoo", Josie "Saagaate", Mary Ann, and Alice Angeconeb along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. His brothers, Charlie, Simon, James, Rex and his father Charlie and mother Carrie predeceased him. John was born in Red Lake, ON on June 24, 1963. John was from Trout Lake where he lived and worked. In the past, he also lived in Winnipeg, Dryden and Kenora. The Namegosipiiw-Anishinaabe community as well as all who knew him, recognized his gentle spirit, kindness towards others and love for his family members and friends. He will be sorely missed by all. John worked on Trout Lake where he could be seen fishing in Long Channel with his delighted guests. John touched many lives and is in the hearts of all those he encountered. Funeral and interment takes place in Red Lake at the Friendship Centre on Wednesday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m.
