Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTARR LOUISE BURSTON (nee BURTON) After a long battle with cancer, Starr Louise Burston passed away with all her family by her side, on Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, Moose Jaw, SK, at the age of 55 years. Predeceased by her father George Burton; and sister-in-law Joan Burton; and her companion dog Angel; she leaves to treasure her memory her children, Christine (Brian) Muchmore of Moose Jaw, Sharon (Greg) Jonsson of Victoria Beach, MB, Robert (Stacy) Burston of Portage la Prairie, MB, and Jamie (Sherri) Burston of Selkirk, MB; grandchildren, Joe, Axel, Shae, Cam, Jessica, Kristina, Ashley, Tiffany and Darcy; husband George Burston of Oakville, MB; mother Opal Burton of Carberry; godchild Troy Brennan; siblings, Garnet (Lynn) Burton of High Bluff, MB, Newt (Brenda) Burton of Brandon, MB, Ernie (Linda) Burton of Gladstone, MB, and Kenny Burton of Brandon; along with many nieces and nephews. Memorial service and celebration of Starrs life will be held on Saturday, September 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gainsborough Hall, Portage la Prairie, with Rev. Norman Collier officiating. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Starrs memory to Central Plains Cancer Care Services, 318 Sask Ave. E., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0K8, or to Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7, or Regina Cancer Care Lodge, 4104, DewDeny Ave., Regina, SK S4T 1A3.
