FRED G. MASON 1919 - 2004 Fred G. Mason (Freddie) peacefully passed away at the Carman Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 6, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife Esther; daughters, Gwen (Gerry), Jill (Ken) sister Edna; and grandchildren, Curtis, Julie, Suzanne; and five stepchildren. He proudly served in the Second World War in Sicily, Holland, Italy and England. Retiring after many years at Bristol Aero, he enjoyed wintering in Texas, summers in Carman, and visiting his mates at the legion. Fred was a warm hearted and loving man who will leave his family with heavy hearts but wonderful memories. Funeral service will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with lunch following at the Ladies Auxiliary Hall. Interment will take place in the Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg. Viewing will take place from Doyles Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
