ANTONIO JOSE VIEIRA 1912 - 2004 Sadly on Sunday evening, September 5, 2004, at the age of 92, Antonio Jose Vieira passed on. He is remembered by his wife Maria Vieira; sons, Jose (Rosa) and Luis (Maria) daughters, Rosa (Manuel), Maria Josie (Manuel) and Maria (Afonso) grandchildren, Paula (John), Joe (Cristina), Jose, Anita, Carlos, Susanna, Odette (Duane), Elizabeth, Jennifer, Ted, Stephanie, John and James; great-grandchildren, Manuel Ze and Tomaz; brother Jose (Maria) and sisters, Maria, Helena and Julia. He was predeceased by his brother Manuel, sister Teresa and granddaughter Fatima. Antonio was a very loving, caring family man. He was known by many for his kindness and generosity. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. The family would like to thank the homecare workers for assisting in his care as well as the nurses and doctors at the Health Sciences Centre on ward GA 4 for the wonderful care that they provided for him over his last week. Vigil prayers 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 9 at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. North. Mass of the Resurrection 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 10 also at Immaculate Conception. His body will be laid to rest in Portugal. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
