RUBY CHALONER (nee HOLBERG) December 20, 1913 - September 4, 2004 Peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2004, Ruby passed away at Central Park Lodge. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur; parents, John and Hilda Holberg; brothers, Kenny, Bill, and Clifford; sister Edna. Ruby will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Barry (Emily) and Philip (Shelley) grandchildren, Bradley, Kevin, Virginia and Kane; brothers, Ray Halberg and Cecil Holberg (Lillian) sisters-in-law, Pauline Holberg and Rita Holberg; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family, outings to the lake and dining out. During her working years she spent time with Eatons and later with the Province of Manitoba. Special thanks is extended to her brother Ray and the staff at Central Park Lodge on Edmonton Street, 10th floor. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held.
