Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE DYCK September 20, 1933 - September 8, 2004 Rose (Froese) Dyck passed away peacefully at 10:30 a.m., September 8 at Grace Hospice in Winnipeg, MB. Rose was born on September 20, 1933, in Aberdeen, SK. Her parents were Jacob David and Anna Froese. She grew up on a farm in Holmfield, MB. Rose married Erven Dyck of Homewood, MB, in 1953, and together they farmed in the Homewood community. They were blessed with four children and nine grandchildren, Judy (Bill Isaak), Christopher, Brendan and Allison, Atlanta, GA; Randall, Winnipeg, MB; Karen (Ronald Schellenberg), Douglas, Janis and Emily Rose, Gnadenthal, MB; and Leanne (Michel Rondeau), Gabriel, Zoe and Szarah, Montreal, QC. The family also extends warm thanks to the staff at Grace Hospice for the excellent care Rose received during her last weeks. As an expression of thanks for Roses life, donations on her memory may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, 134 Plaza Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3T 5K9. The funeral service will be held at Bethel Mennonite Church, 870 Carter Ave., in Winnipeg, on Monday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a private family interment at the Greenwood Cemetery in Carman.
