Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA GRACE HYSLOP (nee GREENOUGH) Suddenly on September 7, 2004 Barb passed away at the Pinawa Hospital at the age of 61. Barb will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband and buddy Daryll, her daughter Chris Fitzhenry (Shawn) and granddaughter Cassie Grace. She is also survived by her mother Anna Greenough, and sister Betty Currie, both of Hillsboro, NB, sister Joanne Earl (Wes) of Clayton, ON, brother-in-law Blaine Hyslop (Pam), and aunt Edith Hyslop of Winnipeg, as well as many loved nieces and nephews. Barb was predeceased by her father Layton Greenough in 1988. Barb was born March 21, 1943 in Campbelton, NB. As the daughter and later wife of members of the Canadian Air Force, she lived in Amherst, NS, Summerside, PEI, Ottawa, ON, Dayton, OH, Dartmouth, NS, Gander, NF, and Winnipeg, MB. On retirement, Barb and Daryll moved to Lac du Bonnet where they built their dream home. Barb was active in the Lac du Bonnet Lions Club, member of the cottage association where they resided, and was a Director for the Manitoba Association of Cottage Owners. Barb was an avid gardener and prided herself on all of the varieties of flowers that she nurtured and cultivated. Since retirement, Barb enjoyed her winter vacations, especially Cancun, Mexico where she became a barterer, second to none. We the family, want to thank Dr. R vanGend and the staff of the Cardiac Unit at the Pinawa Hospital for their help during this trying time. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 164 in Lac du Bonnet on Friday, September 10 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A private internment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation in Barbs name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg.
