Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • There is so much I could say about the friendship that Eric extended to my father, mother and myself but I would not know where to start. This led to an extended friendship between Canada and the UK. 1966, I was 9 years old. Ditte, do you remember your manual Mercedes on a wet dirt road? Michael, Bali Hai and Kings School Canterbury? Deepest sympathy at the loss of a wonderful man and father. Kindest regards, Mark. - Posted by: Mark Gardner (Friend) on: Nov 29, 2020

  • Eric was a man with great ability, insight and courage who was a mentor to many. Although many years have passed, his memory remains close and dear to heart. His strength and intelligence was exterior to a loyal and good heart. I’m thankful for his friendship and example in my life. His two children are both a tribute to him, and to Nora who was a graceful, talented lady and loving mother. Peggy’s gentle, caring soul brings fond memories. - Posted by: Paul Sanders (Friend ) on: Aug 31, 2020

  • Eric Lansky was a great friend and mentor and taught me driving in his own car in the spring of 1987 when I was an exchange student from Denmark at Carman Collegiate Institute in 1986-87 and taking the Manitoba driving licence. Eric was a fluent danish speaker and he, Peggy and I enjoyed many great conversations. RIP Eric. - Posted by: Peter Lindahl DDS (Friend) on: Feb 07, 2015
